Sadequa Hasan Sejuti embarked on a journey back in January 2009 to the remote village of Mithakhali with one goal only, to make a difference. Her relentless efforts in finding common grounds, bringing people together, creating awareness and interest in community development gave birth to the first of its kind people's center: The E-Center. Ever since then she has been the catalyst for change, turning ideas into action. She loves the positive experience she gains from reaching out and interacting with people from all walks of life and the host of opportunity that it brings. She believes that opportunities can take shape within the very problems of our communities. She also believes that people are at the heart of all community matters and, therefore, are critical to the development of every individual community. With an academic background in architecture, she gained the ability to craft unique ideas into practical & applicable designs. Her dedication to work coupled with her clear vision of how digital Bangladesh should really look like has shaped amar-desh amar-gram into a groundbreaking community development platform. A platform that truly involves local people seeking and taking advantage of opportunities or working together to solve problems; thus empowering them to turn their dreams into reality.
