Sadequa Hassan Sejuti

Managing Director

FSB (Future Solution for Business) Ltd.

The pioneer woman entrepreneur to move Bangladesh forward with ICT. With an academic background in architecture she left her professional career when she found her contribution to an e-commerce project can change the livelihood of people of Bangladesh and help bring them get out of poverty.

The tool for the development she selected was ICT. There is no better way than using Information Technology to mitigate aspects of this global disease that we call poverty, towards a more self dependant Bangladesh. Sadly the use of Information Technology is available to a certain echelon of society more specifically the upper and middle class. As a result majority of the population of our country is still unaware of the importance of free exchange of information and benefits that could come out of its expansion.

Bearing heavy responsibilities manage both the team in urban head quarters and the mass in rural areas. Managed thousands of rural beneficiaries by giving lectures and making them aware of the world of technology and how to use e-commerce to trade.
Got an opportunity to attend the Mosaic Young Leadership Training, Founded by Prince of Whales at Qatar ,Doha 2011.

With our project (My Country MY village) we take computers and web access to the lowest income group and empower them with a possibility that was not ever previously available to them before. This project is the real possibility of a Digital Bangladesh, where digital technology reaches out to the furthest corners of our country bringing change to countless lives.

Gave women entrepreneurs free training from our e-centers which empowered. This project got the Award from Power to women categories in United Nation WSYA 2011.

She was part of the 5 years strategic plan for Government in Bangladesh for e-services to enhance the citizens quality of life .

FSB(Future Solution for Business) Ltd.

Amar Desh Amar Gram

Internet technology enhancing the lives of thousands was an obsession for a healthy part of my working career. For the love of my country After my graduation I came back to my country to work on ICT for development.

Graduated from BSC(Hons)  in  Computer Networking from university of Bedfordshire, Uk  always want his country people to get connected to a network where they can share trade, knowledge , culture etc to alleviate  social classification. He want to represent his country people to international and to create a communication among them to the world.

Assimilating Bangladesh to the digital age resulted in
Amar Desh Amar Gram(My Country My Village),a self sustainable development model
entirely the product of years of toil and endless love facilitated by ICT.

The only and the pioneer e-commerce platform design and built by him in Bangladesh to elevate poverty. We didn't have e awareness in our country and During the initiative of the project, not only the rural people but also the urban clan was skeptical about the outcome. One of the biggest challenges was the online payment gateway. Bangladesh back in 2009 didn't authorize local credit card transaction online.

We created a doorway in time when there was no e-commerce let alone e- payment. Our project changed the banking system by convincing Bangladesh bank to open the payment gateway for credit card and with the support of  Brac Bank we launched the first ever e-commerce in our country which was Inaugurated by Dr.Atiur Rahman Governor Bangladesh Bank. We proudly boast the first ever ecommerce transaction in Bangladesh on our site in BDT currency.

Then the challenges to create e-awareness among the villagers was an achievement .First barrier was there are villagers who had no access to computers in their life time .To train the youth and building a community around our e-center was another challenge.

To manage such centers and to communicate to the village producers the aspects Human Resource Development (HRD) was also a big challenge for Amar Desh Amar Gram. ICT  literacy and e -education  had to be  leveraged  to  tackle  the  most  difficult -to -teach  and  difficult -to -learn  subjects  and also to provide  vocational  education opportunities  to  the  youth  and  adults  in  order  to   build  newer  skills  and improve   productivity .

The traditional market system, middle man was always a stumbling block for us as our e-trading system is breaking those syndication and creating a direct market place for the farmers and the producers both nationally and internationally. Policy, corruption, syndication and garnering attention and motivation to drive the city youth to work alongside its rural counterpart are also our biggest challenges to solve.

Our achievements came when we got some major awards in 2011-2012
